Elio at the Hudson, a few weeks old.

He is almost four months now and while he is literally twice the size he was in this photo he is still our little boy.Even though he is doing all sorts of things that begin to trick us to think that he is so much older than he is. Turning over from his back to stomach, laughing and playing. Grabbing and holding. Alert to this world. But really he is just four months old and when I put him down to sleep and place my hand on his stomach it covers his torso. And there is just something about that. I had to write it down.
